Premises Liability

This type of lawsuit typically claims that the property or building was unreasonably dangerous.  Perhaps the business did not remove snow and ice in a timely fashion.  Perhaps there is not a proper hand railing or lighting in a stairwell.  Perhaps a structural or mechanical part of the building was damaged or not up to building code specifications.  A dangerous condition or a failure to warn of a dangerous condition can be the basis for a premises liability claim.
